Senate Research Committee (SRC) offers five types of grants for 2025
Short-Term Grant (ST)
Duration: 6 months
Maximum grant value: Rs. 600,000
Long-Term Grant (LT)
Duration: 1, 2 or 3 years
Maximum grant values:
1 year – Rs. 1,500,000
2 years – Rs. 3,000,000
3 years – Rs. 4,500,000
1 year – Rs. 1,500,000
2 years – Rs. 3,000,000
3 years – Rs. 4,500,000
Capital Intensive Grant (CAP)
Duration: 2–3 years
Maximum grant value: Rs. 6,000,000
Application-oriented Collaborative Grant (AC)
Duration: 2 or 3 years
Maximum grant values:
2 years – Rs. 5,000,000
3 years – Rs. 6,000,000
3 years – Rs. 6,000,000
PhD Studentship Grant (PS)
Duration: 3 years
Maximum grant value: Rs. 6,000,000
Each grant application consists of two sections: Section 01 and Section 02.
Section 01
Includes proposal summary, financial information, and administrative details.
Section 02
Includes scientific information related to the research proposal.
Both sections should be uploaded separately as PDF files in the SRC grant application system.
