Chinese delegates including Mr. Wu Cheng, Deputy Director General and Mr. Wang Xiongwu, Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province, Mr. Pan Pingchuan, Assistant President of Sichuan Institute of Atomic Energy, Professor Chen Rongjum, from Sichuan Agricultural University and Associate professor, Tang Xuefei of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China visited University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka on 17.12.2015.
The meeting was held with above delegation and the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University of Moratuwa Prof. Rahula Attalage chaired the meeting. It was also participated Professor Gihan Dias -Director of International Affairs and Mr. P.M. Karunarathne, Dean, Faculty of Information Technology and few academic staff members of the University for the same.
At the meeting, it was discussed the areas that students and academic staff exchange programmes in the areas of Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer and Information Technology, and also Post Doctoral Fellowships, Joint Researches on PhD and Masters level and the other mutually impotent matters for the both Universities.
