In a groundbreaking move, the National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka has made history by conducting its first-ever Team Uniform Design Competition in collaboration with the at the University of Moratuwa. This competition aimed to select the official team uniform for the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games.

A distinguished panel of judges, comprising Dr. Ayesha Wickramasinghe, Ms. Prathibani Manthriratne, and Dr. Sumith Gopura, was entrusted with the responsibility of forming strategies for the project, screening its success, evaluation, and selection of winners of this open competition. Dr. Prabod Dharshana Munasinghe coordinated the project from the university's end.
