MEng / PG Diploma in Construction Project Management

The MSc programme gives individuals and industries the opportunity to develop their expertise in project management. The programme is conducted part-time, helping the working professionals to gain further knowledge and qualifi cations. Teaching is carried out by our well-experienced staff together with academics of other universities and institutions. Visiting lecturers from the industry are sometimes invited to give talks on industrial processes and product development. All lectures, practical sessions, presentations, industrial visits and examinations will be conducted on Fridays and Saturdays. This programme consists of a combination of compulsory core modules, elective modules and a research project. The project is only available for studies towards MSc. Its main objective is to provide training in techniques that are essential for research and problem solving in the industry.

Entry Requirements:

A degree of bachelor of science in engineering (specialised in civil engineering);

OR

A degree from a recognised university with one year of relevant experience;

OR

A associate membership of a recognised professional engineering institute in the relevant field and a minimum of two years of experience after obtaining such membership also could be considered;

OR

The acceptability of the professional qualification of the candidate, the recognition of the institute and the relevance of the field shall be determined by the Faculty and approved by the Senate.

 

Duration:

MSc: Two years (part-time)

PG Dip: One year and three

months (part-time)
