The Department of Electrical Engineering offers a Part-Time Postgraduate Program leading to Msc/Postgraduate Diploma in Electrical Engineering. The courses are conducted over an academic year, mainly on Fridays and Saturdays. Those who attain the required standard at the end of this programme may continue towards MSc degree, by undertaking a supervised researh project, normally lasting over one year on part-time basis.

The Postgraduate program covers advanced areas in electrical engineering required by engineers responsible for power generation, transmission and distribution.
